ABOUT APAWAS
Adaigbo Progressive Association of Washington State (APAWAS) is a social, charitable and non-profit entity. The organization is Actively Dedicated to Advocate and Inspire Generations with Benevolence and Oneness.

APAWAS OBJECTIVES
Promote the spirit of togetherness and sisterhood among members and their families through interactions
Serve as an umbrella under which our women, men and children can come together and achieve a common goal.
Foster cultural understanding between Adaigbo and other groups/cultures through promotion of cultural exchange.
MEMBERSHIP/ ENROLLMENT
Two forms of memberships exist in Adaigbo; full membership and honorary membership.
Full membership; for those who meet the requirements as specified in the association constitutional rules
Honorary membership; people who strongly have the interest of the organization at heart, does not have any voting rights and can attend Adaigbo Progressive Association meetings.
MEMBERSHIP BENEFITS
Child dedication service; a gift and mutual support from the association such as meal planning.
Wedding; a gift to the member or the member’s child plus mutual support.
Bereavement; a gift towards the funeral of a member or a member's spouse or child or a member's parent. We also provide moral support to the immediate family
