Committee / Ethical Codes
The association has a standing and ad hoc committee; members who are interested participate in any committee.
The association has the following committees; Membership Enrollment, By-Law, Fundraising, Event Planning, Children, Ethics/Disciplinary.
Code of conduct
- Members should always act with integrity and honesty.
- Relationships are based on mutual respect. Differences of opinion are discussed openly and civilly. These discussions focus on issues at hand and are presented in a courteous manner.
- Any member who rudely interrupts any speech is fined and the money paid immediately.
- Members are to be sensitive to the impact of both their words and actions on others.
- All members should exchange ideas freely within the bounds of reasonable behavior
- Under no circumstance, no matter the provocation, should a member engage in hurtful exchange of words or altercation, physical fights or drunkenness.
- Conflicts should be resolved in this manner: Firstly, bring it up to the president or the Vice President, Secondly, involve the executives, Thirdly, bring it to the floor members.
- Our association is stronger when we work as a team. We foster attitudes that encourage members to give and receive constructive criticisms, and develop creative solutions to challenges.
